Nour B. | Mar. 2020

I picked up a professional camera for the first time in my life back in Nov. 2019. I practiced every single day for a few months until I started Nour B. Photography in March 2020, one week before the pandemic and lockdowns. It was a blessing in disguise, because within three years I was able to achieve my dreams of making so many people happy by falling in love with their photos! I do enjoy being in front of the camera, but photography to me is a passion, and not just an income. Hearing how much you love your photos, and seeing them shared with the world makes me the happiest person in the world!

my "why"

I have many reasons for why I wanted to become a photographer, and eventually found my calling. Since I was young I have always been fascinated with how we see ourselves in photos, and how some people look the same in real life as they do in their photos, while others look [completely] different! It turns out the secret ingredient is the photographer! The right lighting, angles, outfit/colors, and camera settings along with a natural smile and confidence - and viola - you will be amazed at how you look in photos!

My real "why" for being a wedding photographer is because I have the WORST wedding pictures ever! My husband and I were pressured into marrying in the Middle East to accommodate family that could not travel to the U.S., so we were basically guests at our own wedding - we barely had the chance to plan anything let alone pick the right photographer. Don't get me wrong, our wedding itself was beautiful - but unfortunately the wedding planner hired a photographer who I am sure to this day had no clue what they were doing! The most important thing in a wedding is your photos, because after the wedding is over, they are the only thing that will last a lifetime. That is why I made it my mission to go above and beyond and make sure you LOVE your wedding photos!

A little more about me

Syrian REFUGEE

I fled the Syrian War in late 2012, and could not finish my psychology degree from Damascus Syria. It was heartbreaking, but I trusted in God alone and He has given me more than I could ask for! That experience is a constant reminder for me to be patient, remain humble, and always help those less fortunate than me.

BOY MOM

I married the love of my life in 2014, and we now have two boys, Adam (8) and Ibrahim (5). They are the center of my world, and my main goal in life is to raise them to be good, honest, and faithful humans. If I am not shooting, editing, or doing anything photography related, I am most likely playing with my boys!

WORK ETHIC

I love what I do, and you will love working with me. I pour my heart and soul into each photoshoot! You will love your photos even more! I can think on my feet and make the most of each moment during your shoot. Afterwards, I spend countless hours working on your best photos (one-by-one!) to make sure they ALL come out perfect!

They say a photo is worth a thousand words, but my aim is to take photos that will leave you speechless!
